We definitely should find out what's causing this issue.
Someone was having issue with another program as well. So it's definitely out of Maemo scope.

The version in extras-devel uses the offical sharing-plugin files, maybe some other tool is kinda overwriting it ?

I reflashed to 1.3 as well. Having less apps installed than previously, et voila, pdf functions work as expected.

However, the Move toolbar is almost done

It works as expected, I just need a set of icons!
The tool bars (landscape and portrait) will have this item on it:
