Just DO IT MAN!
There is not much differences, despite some region got FMTXD disable and some other restriction to the WIFI bandwidth range. Otherwise there isn't much difference.

JUST DO IT! If you don't do it then I'll DO IT lol. Wait I already did it on mine from US version to Global since got the damn thing in November

I'm in Australia and re flashed with Global version, well its the only option as the rest are other locations.
It kept all my contacts, calendar and data.
Apps I had to re-install which I knew I would have to do.
No issues.

Personally I am going to hang this one out for a couple pf months yet, as it is mostly just a bunch of fixes for the "quirks" that I have come to accept or already have a work around for. I will wait untill the dust and the hundreds of PR1.3 topics settle before going for it ATM. It may also be a good idea to wait until more apps are released that are PR1.3 dependant before I upgrade? But that is my honest train of thought.

What is interesting ATM is the preenv (webOS) threads that are going at the moment and the number of users who are having problems installing games after having the update. You could look into those and play some awesome games before deciding what to do first? That is what is making me consider hanging back for now. (I will also admit that in time the preenv/PR1.3 confusion will be sorted

Hope, everything works out OK what ever you choose?

I was on UK aswell, but seriously there is no difference that I can tell of between that and global.

I'd vote for updating. If you don't like, then downgrade.

I moved to global when pr1.1 was delayed for UK users, there seems to be no obvious difference and have upgraded OTA to PR1.2 & PR1.3 without issue since then.
