Hello. I have the N900. So maybe this is the wrong thread on this forum also.. But, I wounder if there are any way to fast scroll a screen down, or upwards.
Say if Im in the app -manager, or some looong webpage on my device, and wanto get way up or down in the list, then I have to touch the screen multiple multiple times. And that as fast as possible also. To get somewhat closer toward where I wanto come. So, I wounder if there are any faster way, as for the PC [HOME] [END] [Pg Up] and [Pg Dn]?
In browser, space is page down, shift+space is page up. Shift+up is home, Shift+down is end.
In the app manager, file manager and media player, typing will search and get you where you want. No page up, sorry, however the lists (HAM, media player, etc) support additive kinetic scrolling, meaning the speed gets compounded with every swipe. Swipe faster and the speed increases. I can scroll about 1000 items with a few swipes, that should be enough for non-extreme cases.
