here are my fmms settings for maxis:

apn: unet
mmsc: http://172.16.74.100:10021/mmsc
user name: maxis
password: wap
http proxy: 202.75.133.49
port number: 80

works great over wifi. i think the issue may have been at your http proxy setting.

My settings are set exactly like how you've mentioned. This is in the fMMS settings right?

I also modified the internet connections i.e. menu>settings>internet connections>

and chose the Maxis internet connection there, edited it to match the settings you gave above..

tried again...

natha....

interestingly, when you said yours work over the wifi, that means that the n900 doesn't prompt you to change your internet connection upon trying to retrieve or send an MMS? Cause mine does prompt me to change the internet connection when I try to send it if I'm connected to a wifi connection.

Your's is in havoc mode?

My fMMS doesn't trigger the internet connection. Just keep trying and hangs (fMMS not responding). But when I connect 3G mobile internet it works.

Need help!!!

Anyone knows how to setup Lite-FM on our N900 internet radio? I keep getting error message "Unable to play media. Audio codec not supported". Thanks.

that is correct. in my internet connection settings, i have mine set to
Connect automatically: Never
Search interval: None

i just tested it last night by sending myself an MMS and it works just fine.

if i'm already connected to a 3g connection, the mms just goes through normally. no prompt to change any connections.

in my internet connections, i only have 1 3G data connection - for maxis. the rest are WiFi connections. i don't have any dedicated 3g connections for MMS.

never tried this. what URL are you using for the radio channel? i would hazard a guess you need to install the extra decoders support package. you can do a search for it in appman or fapman.

Normal??? Which do you mean is normal???

A) fMMS keep trying and hang = normal???
B) fMMS works well using 3G mobile internet???

I can't send MMS using WLAN/Wifi...only mobile internet (data service).
