Hi all,

I'm trying to browse to a Micro$oft IIS-hosted website which uses integrated authentication, but the 770 browser does not even ask me for a username/password. The site then obviously responds with an authentication failure message...

Is this a known deficiency of the browser, or am I doing something wrong?

Cheers,
Alex

Usually, on sites like this, e.g., FTP sites, you do it like this:

ftp://USERNAME:PASSWORD@website.com

For example, if your username is bob and your password is pw, and the website is
yahoo.com, then it would be:

ftp://bob:pw@yahoo.com

Have you tried something like that? NOTE: I am not on the 770 right now, or I would try it myself.

I am running a number of web sites open for special users, on my IIS server, but all logon is controlled from one of my web sites running on one of my ISP. When the logon is OK, the user is redirect to my own IIS server.

And the login go just as fine from the 770 as from an ordinary PC running MS IE, the window for USER-ID and PASSWORD is coming up just as it suppose to do.
