Just so you know, "Maemo 5" is the name of the operating system on N900. PR1.3 or PR1.2 etc. are specific versions of Maemo 5.

Unless showstoppers are discovered, it will be promoted to stable status and appear in your application manager in about a week.

Same here, I set the flash version to LNX 10,0,45,0 and my tests succeeded.

I tested with (not working before TweakFlash):

- sky.fm. While loading, I got a error message but the page ended up loading fine.

- soundcloud.com

- embedded youtube videos on facebook.

@attila77 thanks for your great work here, im sure it will be a while before some of the major sites need 10 for features rather than just requiring it, until then we owe a cold one

looking forward to seeing it pop up in the app manager

Suggestion: stop storing the shared object in ~/ and stick it in a hidden or a /var/ folder. It's annoying to have it sitting there.

Hi, like many ppl who upgraded firmware to PR1.3, my tweak flash doesn't work anymore (I can't watch videos on Facebook- the site is telling me to get newer Flash player). So I uninstalled Tweak Flash app and reinstalled it, and change to LNX 10,0,45,0 setting. But I still can't watch videos on Facebook.

Still need help, any others experiencing this problem?

PS. My N900 is stock, no mods, nor Overclocked. Just using apps from Ovi Store and Maemo Extras.

ive been wrong before ... but my understanding is that a update for pr1.3 is in testing currently and due to be released (providing no major bugs are found), as attila77 says above it should appear in your app manager in a week or so, hopefully. Id suggest just hanging on for now and getting the stable version in a week or so.

(please feel free to correct me if im wrong)

To prevent any unnecessary re-flashes by anyone..
I fixed the green weird stripes on the flash videos by reinstalling the flash player plugin..

what i did was on terminal:

sudo gainroot
apt-get remove adobe-flash* (this removes tweakflash as well)
apt-get install adobe-flash*

fixed

reinstalled tweak flash and works perfectly
also for the record my device is overclocked

i flashed my deivce with 1.3 and then when i install test version of tweakflash, it doesnt work.

Even thought i change the version to Linux desktop it resets back to froyo.

I tried restarting the device but no luck.

Facebook flash is no more working.

the simple commands
sudo gainroot
apt-get install --reinstall adobe-flash*

should work.
