It's entirely possible but I have serious doubts that Nokia are going to implement it.

Your only hope for Maemo to have portrait is if the community implement it.

Also, please use search. There have been many threads discussing this.

something out of topic but is there a music vizualisation for the n900? it wud be cool and dont think some of newer phones has that
