Hi

I have a problem when I flash my Nokia N900.

In last week my battery went empty and I charced my battery in car, the charge was not continuesly --> after that N900 didn't start.
Light were on the screen, but nothing didn't happened.

Now I have flashed my device really many times (aprox 40 times) but I can't get it working.

The first image file "fiasco"-image is going really well in device, and flahs is ok.
But when I try to put the emmc-image say flasher:
Suitable USB device not found waiting
Phone and flasher is 5 sec in this mode. (waiting)
Then the flasher is working (flashing the phone) and at the same time the phone begin start.
(I think that phone should not start at this moment, something wrong in phone or inte flasher code)

after this:
Phones screen is coming these five dots but the backlight of the screen is not coming on.

Emmc-flashing is only like 15-20 sec long and there is no error notification.

My conclusion is that, there's something wrong in phone, in phones memory (mydocs) and that's why it don't work.
Because fiasco-image (the first flasher file) is for phone settings and emmc-image (second file) is for mydocs (phones memory).

PLEASE I NEED HELP...

Does some other user have this same problem than I?
What should I do now?

My operation system is Win7 and 64bit, and I have downloaded drivers for my win7 and n900.

Try flashing via linux distro. Also get your battery fully charged from other fone e.g. nokia 5800 and then try flashing. If its in warranty better take it to nokia care.

Eh, the flasher seems to be working. Note that if things are working properly, you will see a white(ish) screen, and a little statusbar across the very bottom of the screen(20px high), as it flashes it will "fill".

Take it to nokia care, they will defo fix it. Till then install a linux distro (ubuntu ) and read the tutorial on flashing via linux , Flashing via linux is the easiest and error free. If you want more info only installing linux (in the easiest manner) and how to on flashing, let me know.

I have tryed now five times again to flash phone.

Fiasco-image is ok

eMMC-image no.

When I put the comand:
C:\Program Files\Maemo\flasher-3.5>flasher-3.5.exe -F RX-51_2009SE_1.2009.41-1.V
ANILLA_PR_EMMC_MR0_ARM.bin -f

Flasher say:
Suitable USB device not found waiting
Then the phone starts (five dots and light in dots).
Flash takes only like 15 second and it's done (doesn't give any iformation flash OK or ready).
And the result is that phone's led burn in yellow and the screens backlight is of, but on screen is five dots and the one of the dots are bright. (Second from the left is bright).

Same problem over and over again...

I have read it too many times

And I have tryed differet emmc image files, this is the latest that I had used:
RX-51_2009SE_10.2010.13-2.VANILLA_PR_EMMC_MR0_ARM.bin
In that exempel I was just taken older one in use.

But no go.
