Hey, this is the Nokia n900 forum. We -thrive- on pointless!

OP wise, I've got the -perfect- phone: Nokia 1100. It's near indestructable(drop it ten feet, no worries), excellent battery life, and does quite well for a phone!

no offense meant ... but communities like this thrive from the influx of new members as well as the departure of those less delighted with the devices, and theres still new people getting n900 all over the world, this way communities like this stay fresh and new ideas can be brought to the table.

If he hated the device from day one then its definetly not for him and he made the right choice, i loved the n900 from day one

I dont think anyone looking for a simple phone that just works should buy a n900, its known for not having the best free navigation options nor being a great phone, the manufacturer explicitly describe it not as a phone but a tablet. But if you want something you can mess about on with open source software and do things that a phone shouldnt do, then youre int he right place, how many other devices can triple boot

(sorry for perpetutating the thread)
