Like many of you, I too have the same issue with my N900 for Corporate mail for Exchange Server 2003.

I belive this is the isssue with the Exchange Server side setup that essentially should work across many mobile devices; I think Maemo misses compatibility here which needs a fix.

N900 will be a real smartphone if Nokia will faciliate this fix soon with coodiantion from Microsoft.

Today is 31-Dec-2010. Pleasent surprise for me, my N900 started working with Mail for Exchange. May be it is because of recent couple of updates like 'Pidgin Protocols plugin for Conversations and Contacts' or so, or my admin must have applied some patches to the exchange server, honestly I am not sure. My N900 started syschrozing with my corporate Exchange Server 2003 when I tried today, all mails, taks, contacts, calendar synchronized flawless. Hopefully this message will help some one to try setting up the Mail for Exchange. This was the only feature I was missing in my N900 until today, Now I am very happy. Happy New Year 2011 for all.
