files with a leading "dot" in the filename are "hidden" files.

in xterm you can list this hidden files with the command

ls -a

and filemanager filebox has an option to show hidden files.

my duh - I could have sworn I'd set one file manager [what's xterm haha?] to see hidden files.
the dot shows up the idiot huh?
found the file using cute explorer..
Now I can guess why a system restore following a 'Clear device'

but but...
Does this kind of thing not beg the question why hide users' data files from them?
Is there some compelling or practical reason to make users files inaccessible?

By the way, your widgets are awesome - now could Nokia ask you to fix the calendaring please?

Execute this command in terminal:
Code:
rm /home/user/.qtdone.db.sqlite
Note that it completely erases your TODO's, along with categories etc.

Can I ask, if you make a regular backup using the builtin backup application and then restore the backup to a freshly completely-wiped phone, will the settings and todo's be restored?

I've found some other applications that don't restore from backup properly and was wondering if yours does. I'm a developer but I don't know how to make it to it if it doesn't, I think you have to register the filenames it should backup as config files somehow with the backup app, whether this means writing to a file on install or talking on dbus or what I dont know (if you know, I'd also be interested to find out)
