Another update! v0.4.1
This one is also available after about 30 minutes, I post this now, because I have to go..

* Fixed: not able to type filename in save-dialog when field is empty
* Fixed: currently selected item is not reselected after list-update
* Added a filewatcher that checks Images directory for changes (add, remove and rename events)
* Changing view (name/filename) is a lot faster
* Added uppercase support in save-dialog (don't know why I disabled it anyway)
* Filenames can now have uppercase characters
* Shorter code and optimisation (yes, again...)

I finally fixed the multiple windows problem in v0.4.2:

* Fixed: pressing buttons repeadedly opens multiple windows
* Updated package description
* New fresh blue text on main screen

I'll see if I can promote it to Extras-testing anytime soon

Please test/vote
Many thanks in advance!
I'll also do some testing in the next few days, I promised CepiPerez to test FileBox

The app does look nice, though I can't really test it (since I'm avoiding -Testing/-Devel, had to reflash once already). However, I have a minor suggestion. Add support to modified Hildon Home. If I recall right Matan's modified HH supports up to 9 desktops and thus this app would be quite great to allow support to more than stock 4 desktops.

[How To] Have up to 9 home screens on N900 ! (Matan's post)

Yeah that's understandable, Testing and Devel are dangerous grounds

A feature for 9 desktops is definately in my consideration. However, I have a VERY hard time getting GConf to work in Qt/C++
I'd like to make an Install feature for 4 desktops (so people don't have to use the desktop settings menu anymore, just everything in 1 place).
Naturally, the next step will then be 9 desktops.

It turned out that the Gconf problem was solved quite easily.

Wallpaeper now features an Install function and it doesn't keep you waiting, like the default desktop-menu does.

Complete changelog for 0.6: (which is in Extras-testing)
* Added Install feature to the manager window! finally!
* Replaced a few QMaemo5InformationBoxes with QMessageBoxes,
because they don't glitch under cpu load
* Code optimisation
* Known bug: edited item is not properly updated in filelist when returning
to manager screen after editing (workaround: close/open manager again)

Next thing to make is support for 9 desktops

Current version is 0.6.1 (in Extras-testing)

I consider this the complete version for 4 desktops.
(unless someone finds a bug, of course)
I didn't have time to look at the 9 desktops implementation yet..

* FIXED: only installs backgrounds when active views are consecutive
* Minor change to application icon
* Default view in manager is now 'names'
* Added "About Qt..." in menu
* Removed unused image (smaller package)
* Code optimisation

Please test/vote, info is in first post. Thanks

When you click on Image Set Manager button, and there is no custom wallpaper that was added before, the program terminates itself.

Thank you for your bugreport, though I'm not sure what you mean exactly..

Do you mean that you've made your own background-set, that doesn't show up in the list, and then the program crashes?
In that case, how did you make the .desktop file, and where did you save it? (or did you make it with Wallpaeper?)
