Hello everyone .......

i hope iam putting this thread in right place .

i was testing my N900 Camera ...... iam not much a camera user ....

and i dunno much about taking photos .........

but i tried to take a close and far picture without flash .......... and i realy dunno if those picture are normal or not .....i kinda feel there is noise in the picture ..... and while iam taking the photos i find alot of noise in the screen

the settings of the camera are defaults ...except flash is disabled
the last picture is in dark room and flash used

i attached some pictures........ well some are repeated ..... just if iam not good and handling the phone........

please tell me if my camera is normal or not .............

As the "Pixel Size: Noise Levels & Dynamic Range" section in this article suggests, smaller sensors (such as those in mobile phones) are very susceptible to noisy output, especially in low light situations.

You may find you get much more pleasing results using BlessN900 or Lowlight.

so my phone Camera is normal ?????

cuz i dropped my phone today ......about 30 cm hieght .....and realy worried

Your results don't seem particularly unusual using the standard camera application in low light on the N900. Try the two apps I suggested earlier; they give appreciably better results in my experience.

another question if you please ....... when i am taking the picture ..... the sides of the screen ( left and right ) are different colours ....... tends to green

That doesn't seem to be a question.
There is a semi-related thread active today (LMGTFY), but that is about stored pictures rather than the viewfinder display.

Not sure if this is what you mean, but you should also consider coloring the blue edge of the lens slide black.
That will prevent the blueish haze at the top right of the picture when using flash. A permanent marker will work, search the site for more information.
