I found if you type
Code:
streamripper %q -d /media/mmc2/music
in the preference (streamtuner record section) the streamripper will continue to record even if you stop the streamtuner app. To get around this problem install roxterm (I found xterm will not install on N810) and next put this in the preference record section
Code:
roxterm -e streamripper %q -d /media/mmc2/music
.
Remember to have it use the directory where you want to store your music. In this example it will be store at /mmc2/music .

Sorry, I should have been clearer. ROXTerm will open a terminal window showing the stream (title, author, and size) that is being recorded when you select record in streamtuner. If you want to stop the recording close the terminal window, stopping streamtuner will not stop the recording (streamripper).

I could not get xterm to load (N810 SSU) so I am using roxterm. But on my Xubuntu desktop streamtuner/streamripper uses xterm, and I also must close the terminal window to stop the recording.

Can Streamripper be used with music that is coming from Vagalume?
