yes it is CR-115, and no you can't open the keyboard because the width of the holder grip & the phone are pretty much the same, but there is a workaround, if you put a case/cover on your phone it will add an extra width to it creating a gap between the upper grip and the phone screen when the keyboard is opened.

I will try to post a picture (when a camera is available)

I just got the CR115 for the N900 and it does fit... though I still think I need to make a cut out for the power button.

any update for genuine Nokia holders for N900, for using it both landscape and portrait mode?

Or do we have to "redesign" CR-115 ?

@Sin. CR115 works fine on both portrait and landscape modes. I am able to even use the keyboard but you need to really press it hard in and make that little hole for the power button. I am still shaky of hitting potholes with it, but otherwise it's a great buy and a solid product from Nokia!
