Yes, because currently I do not quite understand what memory your are short of. Maybe root fs is too full to load deb-files?

What is the full error message?
If you do:
df -h / ; du -sh /var/cache/apt/archives
...and put the full given output here, we may know the problem is that your rootfs is just too full to receive big deb-package. (Then it will help to soft link archives directory momentarily to /home/user/MyDocs/archives
