suprising amount of hostility in this thread considering its just a funny story about the n900 saving the day (although i admit the title is fanboytrollbait)
So you can tether those other devices too . . . but the users didnt know. owning an n900 involves learning, iPhone users dont need to be aware of what their devices can do, they just need it to work for its daily functions thats the whole design ethos, the n900 design ethos is to do with making it do things alot of other phones cant, so you learn more about it.

I showed a cisco network security pro my n900 at a party the other night, we got chatting and he spotted the full terminal and beamed with joy as he played with it.

Taxi driver got lost in london last weekend and asked us if 'anyone has an iphone' passed him my n900 with sygic open wondering if he was after navigation or was going to tweet "taking a fair, totally lost!...lulz", he did fine with it tho
