I have tried both rdesktop and vnc viewer but cannot get the N800 to connect the the 192.168.1.1 (.100, .101, .102, .103 ...) server.
Possibly I am not using the correct IP address or some other silly mistake ;~)

I would like to be able to use the N800 to play music, stored on my PC hard drive, on my stereo equipment. I have a Windows Vista PC hooked up to a Digital to Analog Converter and use J River Media Jukebox as my music browser.
I do not want to listen to music on the N800 but only control my PC with the N800.
Thanks for any info,
Stan
