Different desktop sets.
There is an App Desktop Activity but it takes way to long to switch from one set to another.
Other then this Maemo is the perfect OS. Not counting the Media Player which makes adding songs to a playlist a adventure.

For me, it needs a portrait oriented touch keyboard to accompany the portrait orientation in the web browser AND portrait desktop so I don't always have to hold it landscape. Other than that, the N900 has far superior hardware than any other phone out there and the only thing the phone and Maemo lacks is developers for some potentially awesome apps which directly compete with all other OS's!!

how he sees gimself
nerdy in front of a mainframe with the ability to control the weather and a holy penguin hanging on the wall
how iphone users see him
paleontologist. using a stylus and typing commands
how android users see him
root? one command? root?
how symbian folks interact with everybody else.
they stand there in all four pics talking on the phone. Even when all other batteries are dead

My wife has the Galaxy Tab and apart from Street View there's nothing I envy from it. I mean, an ultraquick, full screen Street View.
