Have been using the n800 for two months including the e-mail program which was configured for POP3 use and worked fine until today. Now the program, when I click on the icon, shows, but doesnt want to start. It shows me the number of messages but the inbox doesn't come up, it seems to try for a few seconds but then just vanishes. Options aren't there either.
Anybody got an idea what might have happened?
Internet connection is working, other programs as well.
Am clueless.
Can only think of going back to an earlier backup.

Using the built in email client is like wiping your *** with a corncob...sure it does the job but there are better things to use. lol joking aside i have that problem at times too and the only reason i dont use one of the othe other programs is simply the fact i like using the integrated client so i can get the notifications.

peligroso: The problem is that an email helper program is hanging.
Fix: Enter the following in osso-xterm (or load-applet-run if you have it installed)

killall enprocess

That'll fix it.
