Looking forward to this project getting stronger, thanks ; )

Had trouble with the installer but installed the required dependencies and restarted phone. Fillmore would launch but quit back to desktop. Installed Mydicto as previous and made fillmore stable, so mydicto must install a dependency that is required.

My n900 is running pr1.3 on power kernel

Sadly, the timeline (forggetting animation) becomes quite critical when you start multitracking, you've not been able to experience it yet but pulseaudio supplies a noticable lag between playback and record - the timeline is the best way to manually correct this by dragging each clip to a small increment to resynchronise the performance. yes, there are other ways to enable this correction but dragging a block on a magnified timeline feels very natural.
For me the menus are easy to press as thay are now, but perhaps you want to add more features or maybe do hildonizing for practice which of cource is totally fine. It's your project, so you should do what is most rewarding for you.

As for the timeline, i think it is awesome and completly neccecary for editing. The timeline animation is however not that important to me. I listen to the track to know when to lay down the second track. I don't whatch the animation at all.

I have some experience from recording but this only a representation of my needs. Perhaps it would be usefull if you created a poll to help guide you to what to-do features people use and wants the most. I am certain they differ from my own.

All in all, I know I speak for everyone when I say that we owe you big time for donating your time and effort in this project and hope to record great things in the future

Thanks AgogData,

Are you running the stock kernel (i.e. not overclocked?). This is the behaviour I am seeing when running at stock speed. I'm working on improving the performance for normal kernel users.

thanks for the feedback.

Thanks again. Unfortunately at the moment that is expected behaviour.

If you are happy to running at a higher speed try upwards of 850 - 900 and see if it works any better for you. I normally run at 950 and get a good performance.

cheers.

Hi,

I have a couple of minor problems but the one really bugging me is that I am unable to save files. No matter what directory I choose under mydocs, it always fails and tells me it is unable to "load" audio files from that folder. See screenshot below.

Now, I am not entirely sure whether or not this actually has anything to do with Filmore, but it´s the only program atm that shows this behavior, so I thought I´d mention it here.

I have done a filesystem check on mydocs but after mounting again the problem persisted.
