FYI

AS most people know already, the current version of Documents To Go (DTG) Premium Edition for only includes support for Word and Excel files but not PowerPoint files.

According to DataViz forum, however, a DTG update that will include support for PowerPoint files is currently in the process of being approved by Ovi Store.

The post I'm referring to is the one by "Laura" from DataViz and it's dated Nov 10, 2010.

Does anyone know whether the DTG update the post is referring to includes the DTG update for N900?

I have 'Slideshow to go' as part of DTG from Jan 2010, and it's only capability is - show .PPT files. I am on PR1.3 now.

Just downloaded http://www.microsoft.com/presspass/d...02-01yahoo.ppt and it looks very good in Slideshow To Go.

EDIT: I haven't 'Premium' edition - just regular DTG.

IMHO the regular version works way better than the Pro version -- te "regular" version is also Hildon+Gtk instead of their weird Qt so it also works better with the N900 (for a start, the input method works).

If you really need to view documents _RIGHT NOW_ I suggest you purge the Pro version and install the regular version -- if it's still available, which I am not sure.
