Hi moradeeb,

I'll take a look at this when I get back (Out of the UK at the mo)
Could you install a different PyQt app and tell me if that works, please? (for eg, the PyQt demo) -- I see a couple of threads with issues with the PyQt pushed to extras-devel....

Maybe it's related....

Scratch that... I know what the problem is (OK, I don't really; but I know of a workaround

There are currently two issues
a) A missing version dependency problem : http://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p...0&postcount=11

and b) a seperate issue with PYQt in the repos: blubbi here: http://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p...1&postcount=19 hit the same issue as I did, and it sure looks like importing gobject after initialising QApplication() sorts the problem out

I'll push an update "soon" (unless an update to PyQt fixes this in the meantime)

Sorry it took so long. i was kindof hoping Bug#6642 would get fixed.
As it doesn't look like it will anytime soon, I'm implemented blubbi's workaround and pushed a new version to devel. Hope it works for anyone using the app....

good thing I discovered this thread! I'm starting to think there's a problem with my phone because app doesn't open. I hope that this app will be fixed because it's a really useful app if you live in london

Hi fergusso,

Have you tried the new version? (0.1.3-3 updated around the time of my last post) Does it still not work?

A couple of quick changes:
* I figured out how to feed in current location directly into the URL of the tfl journeyplanner -- so it should be a "bit" faster now to "take you home" (doesn't reverse locate postcode anymore)
* I also use the "mobile" version of the tfl site, so hopefully the webpage will load faster. I'm unsure if I like the mobile page (as it seems to lose some info from the main site, like a map), but it does load a lot faster. I might make this configurable in future...
