Hello everyone,
I have again and again seen this strange behavior.
I will send a text, and next to my message it will show the message as sending and that little icon wont go away.
It will have send and i get a response from another person and its all good.
But now if i restart my phone and i bring up Conversations again, it will give me an error when i try to go into that conversation telling me the sending failed.
and the conversation window will stay blank.
if I completely exit out of Conversations and open it again, it will recieve all the messages from earlier from the other person, and will have lost all my messages.

I know this is more of a rant, but has anyone experienced this?
Its happened on both of my n900's(the one I broke and the replacement)

Thanks.

I had that happen a couple weeks ago, same thing, recieved a response from it, and sent more after that. It also would show the phone number instead of the name too.

I deleted that single text, and it righted itself, and now all is well again...

You jinxed me!
It happened again to me tonight!

I noticed when I went to the conversation through Conversations, it gave me the error and didn't show any messages in that conversation.

However, when I went into it through the contact (such as when you're gonna write a new text to him) then it displayed them, and I was able to delete the bad text that "didn't send".

All is well again, for the time being...

Happens to me as well !
But then in the next boot up, it gets normal.
It's maybe due to application memory full. maybe !

I dont know, I have the feeling it may have something to do with how it stores the messages.

I have also noticed that most of the time when it happens i have a lot of txt msgs.. so i tend to just clear all of them out and that will fix it.. usually at least,
but I would call this a bug.
I couldnt find any bug reports about it thou

I had the same problem with one contact and what I did was delete that contacts reboot then restore from backup with only "communication and Calendar" selected.

I think for me its a little more widespread than that. And this was actually just reset.

This has happened to me alot in the last week. But only with two specific contacts. I dont have a huge contact list, but after clearing out all messages, it seems to work fine for awhile.
