I'm having problem installing vlc i have
bus errorackage list...0%

- How to make file association?
- I Still have problems updating the clock
- Is there a way to put Icons Shortcut in desktop??

ok to install vlc inside ubuntu go to menu, accesories, LXterminal

now type apt-get install vlc

once it finish type vlc-wrapper

I don't know what you mean with file association

to update the clock go to menu, accesories, LXterminal and type

date 120714312010

shortcuts in desktop by the moment i haven't find a solution for that so my sincere apologies for that

Ok Thanks You already did so much! I Will try to install VLC later in the night. Fo file association, i take jpeg image for exemple, when i want to open an image, it open a window wich ask me to choose an application to open the file. I was wondering if there was a way to associate image files for exemple to Gpic viewer???
And Also what is the command line for Battery plugin? Do you have other useful command lines???

let me research a little more about file associations, by the way thanks for asking that it would be nice to have that
Also i'm working on battery status panel, hope to fix that

And You have to work also on logout problem!!!
Is there a repository wher i could download apps? Like in Ubuntu on PC???

Which, indeed, is the case. The directory does not exist. What did I do wrong?

Edit: Just noticed that the terminal output for getting into chroot returned a warning about pulse audio, concerning the same directory.

ubuntu comes with karmic and jaunty repositories so you have a ton of app, maybe your asking for something like the ubuntu-software-center don't you? I'm installing it right know but I don't know if this will work due to root account, If I have success I will post how to install it

Also, can I compile directly Apps under ubuntu? I'm Downloading lmms-0.4.8.tar.bz2 and i want to install it in Ubuntu!!! It's LMMS for ubuntu!
