Hello,

I have around 10 Nokia N900. I would like to create an ''owners repository'' with customly selected applications in Linux.

Has anyone of you any idea how this can be acoplished.

What is the simpliest way to install all the applications needed from one repository onto many different devices. The devices should be customised for different users.
However it is important to note that I am not asking about the restart of backup required for the same users but a whole new installation that would automatize this for different users.

Yikes. I mean wow. I mean yikes.

Have you tried backing up applications from one and restoring on the others? Beware: This is just an idea, it may crap your device - be prepared to reimage.

Those 10 Nokia phones (no matter how lovely they are) are in my possession for the time being. I will have to say good-bye soon and give them to their new owners who are my working colleagues.

I would like to find a simpler solution that just requires just the repository update....

Did understand if the OP made one or two questions. (using question marks would be easier)

In any case, custom .installs files could be used to deploy many apps in each of the devices if that was requested.
