Enter your IMEI. And it will direct you to a page from where you can download the latest image File P.R 1.1

Now rename it to anyname you want and paste this file in the flasher folder that should be present in the program files. Dnt make the mistake that I was doing. I right clicked the icon in start menu and selected "Open File Location" which was actually leading me to the Start menu shortcut folder. Dnt do like this. Copy and Paste it in the flasher folder present in Program Files. Hope u will get ur problem resolved
That's the place i got my "RX-51_2009SE_3.2010.02-8_PR_COMBINED_MR0_ARM" and "RX-51_2009SE_1.2009.41-1.VANILLA_PR_EMMC_MR0_ARM" files from.

As i said in prev post, i tryed flashing with the one file, but it seems like i have to use the "VANILLA" file.
But it says in a note
Vanilla version of the eMMC content for Nokia N900
NOTE: Always flash the FIASCO image first, then the eMMC image immediately after that. Never boot up the device between flashing the FIASCO image and the eMMC image!
FIASCO image, is that the same as the RX-51_2009SE_3.2010.02-8_PR_COMBINED_MR0_ARM.bin file??
And how do i get it to not reboot after flashing the first file?

EDIT:
Got it working.
I had to skip the -R at the end of the comand. This is reboot. Then i installed the VANILLA file.
I'm up and running again.

Fiasco is your firmware image... (i guess) Then flash your MMC image. It won't take long...

Hi guys,

I tried to flash my n900 using the eMMC image for fiasco as well as eMMA and it comes up with square symbols now. I have followed the instructions on the wiki and cant figure out what is the issue. Anyone have any ideas or faced a similar problem, please help.

per the wiki:

Run the following command (TIP: Do not include '-R' if you are flashing EMMC as well, see below):
flasher-3.5.exe -F RX-51_2009SE_2.2009.51-1_PR_COMBINED_MR0_ARM.bin -f -R

Hi, I am planing on flashing my device as it doesn't charge from wall charger, but charges fine from USB (I think there is some software error that doesn't recognize wall charger). But I'm running win7 64bit - will this flasher-3.5.exe work correctly as it is 32bit app?

http://wiki.maemo.org/Updating_the_firmware

Read this very carefully and you should have little to no problem flashing
