i am also malaysia user. use navit for navigation.
it has voice and also internal routing.
you can downloand any map you want from openstreet.
some navit user can even configure to use garmin.

How do we get navit? Does it operate via GPS or Wifi?
I hope to get a usable navigation on the N900. I tried the Ovi maps on C6-01 and it was great. I tried Mappero, Sygic and Ovi maps for N900 and they are lousy (or that I did not know how to setup).
