use kmplayer instead of the stock media player

Hi all,
I have some FLV videos that will play on my N900 and some that wont, both downloaded from the web the same way and transfered to the phone via USB.
I have Extra Decoders Pack installed, it scans for new codecs when ever i add a new video to media player but it still will not play it.
Anyone have any ideas, the error is just file type not supported ?
