It would be really nice if someone could port this to Maemo: http://extcalc-linux.sourceforge.net/
Without some functions like 3d graphs maybe. I haven't tried this calc but seems very impressive!

It does look nice, but it's QT based rather than GTK. Sounds like a lot of work replumbing it. Sorry. Any others about?

Galculator works well on my n800.

Odd, how did you guys get galculator to install? Downloading the .deb from the above link and installing it simply fails. Application Manager doesn't show any error messages in the log, but dpkg shows this:
"dpkg: error processing galculator_1.2.5.2-N770v0.1_arm.deb (--install):
package architecture (arm) does not match system (armel)"

Might be that's my fault, possibly the blog page pointed to an arm version. However, the one above is for armel and installs OK. Sorry

No worries, and thanks a lot!

Edit: Also, just noticed that MathJinni, which I randomly installed some time ago, now has a decent calculator. Being able to edit equations inside a text field is pretty useful!
