If it hasn't, is there a way to perhaps sync Outlook with Google calendar and then to GPE?

I've been browsing for a few weeks and finally got my N800 a couple of days ago. I already own a GPS unit and if I need a keyboard that bad I'll get a BT one that I'm sure will be more comfortable to use than the one on the N810.
So instead of waiting I went out and got my N800 and boy am I pleased!
This is one great device! not just for what it is and what you can do, but for the possibilities it represents. The future's looking bright for mobile internet!
so on to my questions.
I've tried accessing both the audio and video streams over at bbc.co.uk and neither will work. Mplayer either just refuses to start playing the file or it says 'unable to perform the operation, try again'. am I missing codecs or something? Also if I install another media player will the N800 automatically update the file associations?
My second question relates to video too. I've got a number of divx movies on my WinXp box which I am sharing with orb via Media Streamer. However I just can't seem to get them to play. Any ideas?
Lastly (and I suspect I know the answer to this) has the whole calendar sync with Outlook issue been solved yet?
If it hasn't, is there a way to perhaps sync Outlook with Google calendar and then to GPE?
I know I could just use Google on the tablet but I want a calendar that's available when I'm offline.
I'm sure I'll have more questions soon!
Thanks for reading my post.
