Thanks for your help Erazor but I don't think that is the cause of the problem: if I run the script as root I get the same error, but if I run the commands inside (pnatd etc.) as plain user manually they work fine. So I guess there is something wrong with the error detection code that prints the message.

then we can build us a queen beecon widget
i want to download ussd-common, but the maemo repo wont work
dont know why

I FOUND A SOLUTION
then make a queen beecon widget with the following commandPHP Code:
root
apt-get install ussd-common
PHP Code:
ussdquery.py *100#
edit *100# to your ussd code to check your money
works like a charm
