???? Android version is 2.2.1 on the last image .. This is more like the latest Froyo Nitdroid release 0.0.9. Also kernel is 2.6.28. Wasn't 2.6.35 needed for Gingerbread ?

I want to completely switch over from maemo to nitdroid. I want to know:
1. Is it fully functional in terms of SMS, Calls, Internet?
2. Does battery drainage still prevail to the extent that it is unusable?

Also please give me a tutorial on how to install it on mt "eMMC"...ie completely removing maemo and running android on internal memory//!

Thanks in advance

Manan

Err..phone and sms somewhat work but you can't talk. E.g. you can make/receive phone calls and sms. You can hear the other person but they can't hear you. So no real phone calls.

You can't. Period. Nitdroid is HEAVILY dependant on Maemo, HEAVILY. So as a summary:
No Maemo=No Nitdroid

so far as i know calls and sms are still on the works.. but data connection works great as i observed there is a slight improvement on battery for this release.. depending on how you manage using it, i think it wont go to the extent of being unuseable..
i wouldnt dump maemo for now afterall this is still on development.. im just enjoying to dual boot anytime i want.. for tutorials just follow the threads imsure youll manage
