I just thought I would say hi. I just got one of these little buggers off the buy.com pricedrop. Heres my story in short.........(kinda but not really :P ). Ive been watching the whole jailbreak thing with the iphones/ipod touches and was really interested in it. I decided I was going to pick one up and went around to various stores only to find out they were sold out mostly everywhere(went to 3 different places). So bummed out later went to a friends house and his roomy and a jail break ipod touch. Played around with it and was really impressed with the gui. Coverflow, safari, all the other apps you could do were good. But after playing around with it longer I noticed safari would lag for me scrolling through blogs, there were a lot of apps but most of them were pointless/useless (aka the stupid ants), and a few other things turned me off from the jesuspod. So i browsed though bensbargains and found the N800 (ironically on the ipod touch), read some comparisons, combed through this forum for a bit, and decided to get one. So I'll deff be tweaking it because anything stock sucks. I consider myself a forum lurker, so to all you who do great things for the n800 I'm thanking you in advance.

Keep an eye out for the next firmware release OS2008.
I had a chance to have a good play with a pre-release N810 yesterday, running OS2008 of course. Looks very nice indeed, GUI more responsive with noticeable performance improvements all round. Youtube is now very much watchable too.
The N800 should be just as quick once it's running the new firmware, as the two units have the same core architecture.

It's a good time to be a tablet owner...
