I recently reflashed my N770 for 52Mhz mmc and multi-block writes, and just to get things cleaned up a bit. I very carefully reinstalled (I had a devil of a time getting it to work properly in my first install) all of the supporting progs for erminig, and erminig itself, and surprisingly, got everything installed with with little trouble. However, when I attempted to start it up from the gui, nothing happens.

When I start it from the root terminal, I get the following:

Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/bin/erminig", line 4, in <module>
import gtk
ImportError: No moudle named gtk


However, I did successfully install python2.5-gtk2. What could possibly be going on here? Will it do any good to uninstall everything and reinstall it? Thanks.

my erminig on the n800 keeps crashing... any heelp? please. thanks

Explain was is happening and how you got there and I am sure someone can offer suggestions.

Big_DawgTE, Make sure all these are installed (not just the first one):
python2.5
python2.5-gtk2
python2.5-hildon
python2.5-xm

Not only that but there is two programs you need to install before installing erminig. They are on the same website.
