About the change of the title, that was a censorship act. Simply in this forum strong criticism agains Nokia is not allowed (I don't know where in the world the servers hosting this forum are, if in a democratic country or not).

I agree that there's been some nice things discovered (for n900 and maemo 5) along the way, and there's no lack of bad surprises too (no mms, ussd, landscape-only, et al).
Maybe not like a ton of bricks, but I was surprised (or rather, superbly disappointed) that Nokia did not handle this 'transition' any better, given that the n900 has actually hit mainstream (IMO; since it's widely available and often cited and compared against popular smartphones online).
