Hi,

I wonder about buying a 8GB memory card for the n800
I was looking at sandisk there are several SD cards, Will it be better taking the regular 8GB SD card or the more expensive one (X60) shall I feel that the second one is faster, or it is just a waste?
Is that true that for better and faster performances it is better to use the 2GB card, due to the fact the bigger the card is the slower it be? so the 8GB woould be slower and heavier on the system?

Thanks

I haven't bought a large-capacity card yet myself, but from what others have posted already I get the impression that the large-capacity cards are faster, if anything.

I have 2 8GB cards, one from Patriot which I purchased before the SDHC "fix" and it was corrupted. And the other an OCZ which is formatted as ext2 and has been working just fine.

Actually, after the fix, I reformatted my Patriot as vfat, and have been running it in the "external" slot without any issues (crossing fingers).

I hope this helps,

Craig...
