I've got a separate FM Transmitter unit that I plug into my N97's 3.5mm jack, and that transmits calls to the Radio. However, If I use the N97's inbuilt FM Transmitter to transmit calls, this doesn't work. It might be the same for the N900.

Roeland

I started a new thread for your app as l felt it was hidden away on this thread however there are now posts querying your app on that thread at:-

http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php...&page=3http://

Can you assist with these? Perhaps starting a new thread wasn't a wise move!

It is a great app.

Not a problem at all, if more people can test the app it can become even better.

And I can switch between topics, or people can decide to move to the other topic ;-)

Happy you like it!

I think it's better if you turn on the fm transmitter, the carkit should turn itself on too rather than the other way around. And if i turn fm transmitter off, the carkit should turn off too. It's just natural to use the fm transmitter while in the car listen to music not having to deal with pressing another button just to listen to phone radio call. I think you got the whole design wrong dude.

Edit: i don't know what the hell i am saying or want lol

Ok...i think i know what i want....i want a widget or a shortcut on the desktop like fm-transmitter so it's easy....just one press.

i agree with romaniausa but if you make a shortcut or a wiget and you are listening to music thru the fm transmission do you really need to touch another widget i say have it to where if you have the fm transm on while you are driving just touch the screen to answer the call . i guess it might be easier said then done, i think , but i trust this forum and they can do anything !!

My suggestion of turning on the fm-transmitter automatically turn on the carkit is not possible because he's working on the carkit not fm-transmitter. Unless u tell the fm-transmitter creator to do it. So that's why i suggest of having a shortcut of carkit in place of the fm-transmitter shortcut. Or both....i would like both.

i just updated and it works great , but i got out of my car and i got a call and carkit picked up again so i had to turn it off so i can talk normaly, this a pain because i don't live in my car to have the carkit answer all my calls automaticly, so having this will be a hassel . i don't think it should answer every call like this , thats why you should have a car mode or a widget to tell the phone that your in a car and that way it would answer all calls . just food for thought .
