So it mentions cfg80211, but I'm not sure how that factors into things. What can I do to look into this further? I have no problem digging into the code if I'm given some pointers on which files to look at, how to get a stacktrace and how I can compile/test my changes. I really wish gdb was in the repositories :-(
As a side note, both gdb and cgdb are in extras, extras-testing and extras-devel. I will try out fragmentation later, but from what I remember as of a few months ago - it worked.

Yeah, this is also related to mac80211 changes. Sometime ago the noise value got deprecated.

Okay thank you. Do you know why it got deprecated? Seems like a good bit of data to have.

The noise value as is won't be used, isn't
filled by most drivers and doesn't really
make a whole lot of sense on a per packet
basis -- proper cfg80211 survey support in
mac80211 will need to be different.

Mark the struct member as deprecated so it
will be removed from drivers.

Is that file linked by Matan the real deal or is it a joke (perhaps the Never Gonna Give You Up video inside a tarfile) or somthing?

Download it and find out instead of cluttering with useless questions.

Either it's real, it's fake or it's a real fake with malicious binaries inside. Use half of your brain and find out.

The rapidshare link? Yup, that's the real thing.

Download it and find out instead of cluttering with questions that I personally fund useless because this forum revolves around myself and my own exclusive interests.
You don't pay the hosting bills, it was a decent enough question, on topic. It's a 140 meg download, might not matter to you but I guarantee there will be a size that does, prompting you to ask exactly the same question.

If it's size is 147,955,977bytes or 144, 489kb then it's the real deal. Cause it should include the source, binary & patches. Seems like lxp doesn't care now it's being published publicly. I'd like to assume he already got sufficient amount of donates. Else I feel sad on some way or another.
