strange, it's just dumping me the source. TBH I just assumed they didn't support java as so few do

It launches for me (main.jsp) but seems buggy. I can't do anything with it. There are other web clients though, and I'm sure I'll find one that will work. The trick after that will be integrating it...

Added an update to the Jablet news page (http://www.jablet.net/news/). Advanced users familiar with Jabber that want to get a preview of the services I'd like our Jabber server to have can go there to find out how to connect. Rookie users will have to settle for the screenshot of the various gateways I've put there. Enjoy.

FYI, I found mentions of a sametime transport project on the 'net, but nothing after 2005...

I looked up some stuff about Sametime and it really doesn't look like there's much except some plugins available for Gaim/Kopete/etc... don't see it happening. Sorry, man.

As for the video center feeds, it appears that it's working. http://www.jablet.net/videocenter/test.html has a quick sample Video Center feed (Diggnation small xvid) which should work fine when the link is clicked on. It should ask you if you'd like to launch Video Center and then proceed with adding the service.

Give it a shot, you know you want to.

Because the feed format is pretty standard, I could easily see feed creation being automated by a web frontend open to our users so that they can add their own feeds and, after being tested and approved by someone (a mod, myself, whatever), being shown publically.

EDIT: RSS feed for the video center database would be perfect, allowing people to directly be notified of new shows/services added and also allow them to add the service directly from the RSS feed reader on the tablet without needing to visit the site first.

Looks like a mime type is needed: "No application to open file" on the N810.

You don't have Video Center installed on your N810.
I added the MIME type to the .htaccess file. Once I reloaded a few times, and cleared the cache, it worked perfectly on my N800.

yeah, r2d2rogers just pointed that out. D'oh. I don't even know if it runs on N810 yet... I'll look into it.

EDIT: foo. Incompatible.
