lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 21 Aug 14 12:08 avahi-daemon -> /lib/init/upstart-job
But the /lib/init/upstart-job is not there.
I got around this for the moment by commenting out the force avahi start in the account-plugin-salut.postinst script in /var/lib/dpkg/info/
I found that the /etc/init.d/avahi-daemon link to /lib/init/upstart-job is broken.
Nokia-N900:/etc/init.d# ls -al avahi-daemon
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 21 Aug 14 12:08 avahi-daemon -> /lib/init/upstart-job
But the /lib/init/upstart-job is not there.
