sigh... I'm re-tard-ed today, it seems... Could've sworn I put this in the N900 forum.

dude......try to relax......if i am posting for help......i sometimes received answers for weeks, even i got my problem solved...but still, someone helped me
maybe a bump is okay but 2 would be much.
try installing "hide-user-agent" app, then start from there, click "remove" and it should do it.
sites are now detecting maemo browser as a moblile browser, so that's why you got mobile instead of full

Honestly, the whole "hey, let me decide for you where you want to go based on what browser you're using" paradigm pisses me off.
GIVE. USERS. CHOICES. ALWAYS. (Unless there's a damn good reason otherwise.)

Wasn't trying to bump... Was trying to explain the unnecessary ******ed from my post and the fact that I had thought I'd posted in the correct forum and not this one.

i see......
typing facebook.com goes to m.facebook.com or touch.facebook.com is a pain....
I couldn't find a prior thread on this, though there must be.
After wiping my N900 clean, I'm starting almost from scratch in resetting everything.
I cannot, however, figure out how to set my internet browser to view full web pages instead of the mobile versions. I had it set up that way before, but now, every site I visit is re-routed to the mobile.xyz.com instead.
I know it must be something simple I've missed.
