but still saying its needed and not working
ive removed it 5 times and tried the 3 diff ones but nothin changed

Not working for me also. I dowloaded from the mentioned site, then i did the xterminal commands then i installed amsn from docs and opend it! Still asks for application.

Can someone tell me what i do wrong?

you should only amsn repost,,
(this adress amsn and repository will install automatically )
1-amsn install before this address
www.amsn-project.net/download.php

if you want close another repos ,,,
open only amsn

2-open x-term root > apt-get update
3- apt-get install tcl-tls

why you should amsn repository ?
because tcl-tls files in amsn repos,,

ok nothing is working for me till now
can anyone just please oppen his amsn then pereferences then advanced and tell me where the tls locted may be i can make it work if i locate it from perefencess since its allready installed on my device

AMSN does that let you use webcam on n900?

Installing this file with dpkg was the only thing that worked for me. Thanks a lot. I had tried everything else mentioned in this thread and elsewhere.
