Does a downloaded route plot with the same error as your track? If so, then it's possible that the lat/lon-to-screen conversion code is not accurate. If I may ask, in what part of the world was that track recorded, i.e. far north or south, near the equator, etc.?

POI Bug found: When I rotate the map clockwise, the POI will disappear after three clicks (press arrow key to rotate three times). So I lose visibility of POIs. Will test driving to work today with auto-rotate to see if problem still occurs.
UPDATE: The auto-rotate reproduce the same bug once the map rotated enough times (3 clicks from north to northeast) before the POI would disappear from the map. To add, I noticed when manually rotating the map if I start with it pointing North in its default setting and rotate counter-clockwise, it disappears immediately while rotating it from North position and clockwise it would not disappear until about 3 clicks towards Northeast.
