See gerdich's post in this thread being a bit "dangerous" doesn't sound as though it is for a noob, I don't want to brick my device just for a "reboot" buttton!

Its pretty straight forward. I did it, and I fail epicly when it comes to these things. If you mess the file up, just delete the file youre editing and rename your copy of the original file back to its original name and boom: there ya go.

personally i just ctrl+x to launch xterm, write sudo gainroot and then reboot.

Install RootSH if you haven't already. Then open Xterminal and type 'root'. Then type 'reboot'.

Done.
