just a suggestion, could you try to add swype? or something like swype that would make it one killer keyboard!

Far lessmore than Swipe, I would love to see an 8Pen/Qwo-like input method as another option, next to the qwerty and the T9-like one.

Both would require gesture detection to be coded in to the system, but the circular input methods are more pragmatic in my opinion, and are far more suitable for not-looking one-handed-typing on a touchscreen.

Yes, in conversation but it is only an example...standard vkb is replaced by mine so it works everywhere, not only in conversation

Seriously though, keep up the great work. I'm sure it'll be ready when it is. It's just hard to be patient when this is something the N900 has been lacking for like a year, and finally something working is available and lingering right there just out of reach.

it would be nice if you do keyboard in the existing ukeyboard style as borders of every key just use the space. but cool work keep it going, as well maybe u should talk to qutim devs, they made pretty good job with their integrated keyboard as well

Looks good. Just a thought, but on the alphanumeric the buttons look a bit short which might make them a little hard to hit accurately, I think it might be better if you take the top row of buttons and put them down the left, which would give you a 4x4 grid of buttons and make them squarer.
