That said if one of the particular projects I've seen in Nokia survives as a small ninja team and doesn't get bloated with bureaucratic leeches that seem to survive in Nokias warm socialist ideal, then maybe they will actually deliver a compelling UI.

Snapdragon is a a System-on-Chip and in fact it's using the Cortex A8 core. My fault was that in the post before I should have compared the OMAP3 and the Snapdragon, which both use the Cortex A8 core.

And about the Dual Core Discussion. Normally I won't need a multicore design. Expect one situation: Surfing at the web, watching videos at youtube and then... a important incomming call without the chance of answering the call just in time because of the full loaded CPU.

Another benefit of dual-core would be that apt-worker could run without grinding the whole system to a halt...
