Seems like every video format type I play using Smplayer on N900, the video and audio is not synchronized. The video is way behind the audio, the delay ranges from 5 to 10 seconds (or more) depending on certain format types. The problem occurs with videos stored on my phone and occurs when I stream videos as well. For example, the movie trailer "9" and the N900 demo video that came with the phone doesn't play synchronized. I played with the menu settings, etc, but no resolution. Perhaps I didn't get the right combo settings intact. Was wondering if anyone know how to fix this? This app seems to be potentially very good if I can get it to work properly.

Thanks.

I have the exact same problem, and tried every combination of settings that I could. I came to the conclusion that smplayer doesn't work and forgot about it.

h264 at the resolution of the included "9" video is too high for smplayer. The video decoding doesn't keep up and audio starts running ahead.
