Title says it all, albeit poorly:

Can you plug your n900 into your n8 in mass storage mode and use it as an external hd?

Haha yeah I did the exact same thing. Went from a pure "phone and sms" phone (nova slide thing nokia made) to the n97 after like two days of working myself up.

Awesome phone. For a few weeks until I saw how limited it was, and annoying to use. The N900 though... it just keeps getting better and better. Only annoyances are that for a phone its slow, email kinda sucks, mms is horrible (no offense to frals who has done a remarkable job, but compared to native mms systems even in ol' 60v5... also it doesnt work for me since reflash and I cant solve it), and the distinct clumpiness of it when wearing suits etc...

Iunno, I just feel ready for something fresh and fun to play with that wont require doom and debacle to send a picture to someone, or check my email.

Yes, it does work.

You can even charge your N900 using the Nokia N8.

That is crazytalk. Pure crazytalk.

Seems like a decent phone, though. Course, Im probably decieving myself. Not sure how I like the look and feel of symbian after my horrible experience with the n97 and one of my girls' 5800 xpressmusic, though... Not after having lived with Maemo for the better part of my postN97-sanity, with its fully customizable UI.

So, bought a N8.

It does indeed work with an N900 in Mass Memory setting. This is awesome.

Happy about the phone, too. Symbian^3 isnt s60v5, thank god. That was my biggest fear.

Anyways: nice. usb otg rocks. now I can use my tablet for torrents and **** at home and just usb it to my n8 if needed. Perfectemundo.
