I have a set of video tutorials in .flv format that won't play on my N900. They're all screen captures of someone using photoshop - so the picture in the video is very very static. I want to convert them to watch on the way to work. When I convert to .avi at 800kb/s(MPEG4 25fps using Oxelon convertor) the filesize is at 1.5 times larger than the .flv but the picture quality is much much worse.

Is there a better format to convert these files to? Is there a format that's more efficient than others when encoding a mainly static picture?
